Sufragium, your vote counts! is committed to protecting minors and to preventing any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), as well as any child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
These standards describe the measures Sufragium applies to prevent minors from accessing the platform, to detect and manage possible child safety issues and to cooperate with the authorities where appropriate.
Sufragium is aimed exclusively at people over 18 years of age.
As a preventive measure, creating an account does not mean that access to the platform is activated immediately. Before activating an account, Sufragium carries out an identity and age verification process.
During the registration process, the user must provide a valid personal document that makes it possible to verify their identity and that they are of legal age, such as a national ID card (DNI), a foreigner ID (NIE), a passport or a driving licence.
The account is only activated once the documentation has been reviewed and the identity and legal age have been confirmed.
Identity verification is not based exclusively on an automated process.
Sufragium carries out a visual review of the documentation provided by the user in order to check that the data and the document are consistent and make it possible to confirm the identity and the legal age.
Where there are doubts or additional checks are necessary, Sufragium may contact the user by telephone to confirm the information provided before activating the account.
This process is one of Sufragium's main preventive measures to prevent or reduce minors' access to the platform.
Sufragium expressly prohibits any use of the platform related to:
Failure to comply with these rules may result in the removal of content, the suspension or cancellation of accounts and, where appropriate, the reporting of the facts to the competent authorities.
Sufragium allows child safety issues to be reported.
Users can use the reporting mechanisms available in the app to report content, users or behaviour that may constitute a breach of the safety rules.
Matters relating to possible child sexual exploitation or abuse will be handled with particular attention.

Actions will be taken taking into account the applicable legislation and the nature of each case.
Sufragium applies control mechanisms to the content and activities carried out on the platform.
User-generated content is subject to Sufragium's terms of use and may be reviewed and removed where it breaches those rules or the applicable legislation.
Sufragium may block or cancel accounts where there are grounds to consider that the platform's rules have been breached or that conduct contrary to the safety of users has occurred.
The documentation provided during the identity verification process is stored and managed in accordance with the security measures and legal obligations applicable to the protection of personal data.
Access to this information is restricted to the people or services that need to take part in the platform's verification and management processes.
Sufragium applies technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or use.
